2 museums, 1 roof

Top, Delbert Trew, museum supervisor, demonstrates how to make barbed wire with a machine he built himself based on one he saw in a Time-Life book on the history of the Old West. Bottom left, Trew holds up a bottle he guesses that contained a concoction to heal barbed wire wounds on animals. He guesses the salve was made during the 1880s. Bottom right, the Texas Route 66 Hall of Fame. Arching through the picture is the neck of the giant snake that was located in Alanread along Route 66.
