Daughters of the American Revolution met March 4

Regent Mary Cantrell led the DAR ritual.  Those attending were Betty White, Nancy Coffee, Mary Cantrell, Shirley Williamson, Omajean Lewis and Donna Burger. Acting as Secretary for Kay Slate was Lewis. Burger read articles on Constitutional Minutes and a Flag Fact.  Never allow the flag to touch the ground or floor. Shirley Williamson read The General’s Report Breakthrough and World’s Health Day.

Two invitations were received this month — one is to a chapter dinner in Canadian to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of  The Comancheria Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.  The second invitation is to a 60-year celebration for the honoring of General Levi Casey, Chapter NEDAR, the marking of General Levi Casey’s grave.
