Susan was born December 25, 1943 in Sacramento, California to Donald and Lila Belle Wilkinson. She married Ernest Alton Kane of April 1, 1969 and they moved to Pampa that same year where she had lived ever since. Ernest preceded her in death on May 9, 2009. Susan was known as a “people person” and loved working in the public at various restaurants in Pampa, such as Pizza Hut and Coney Island for many years. Her most recent job was at Braum’s where she worked for the past 10 years. Usually sharing a joke (some dirty) or two with everyone. She never desired for wealth, instead she loved spending her time and money on her children and grandchildren and the less fortunate. She once gave her car to someone in need, while she walked to work. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Susan enjoyed traveling and playing the slot machines. She loved the most spending time with her grandchildren, who called her Grandma Kane.
