Altrusa International Club of Pampa met March 28, 2023, with president Barb Hahn presiding. Kerrick Horton and Chris Stillwagon served as greeters.

The following guests attended: Scott Hahn, John Warner, Doug Bauman, Paul Bagwell, Benny Horton, Jim Crossman, Steve Stillwagon, Daryl Franklin, Mike Schale, Dwinna Smith, Denise Inteman, and Collin Rains.

The Accent was given by Sandy Mathis who defined the Altrusa Accent and gave a brief history of the beginning of Altrusa in Texas.

Hugh Piatt, Pampa ISD Superintendent, spoke on the School Bond Election and furnished information regarding updates to the facilities of the school properties. Mr. Piatt encouraged early voting April 26-May 2 at the Pampa ISD Administration Building.

Collin Rains later spoke to the club as an advocate for passage of the bond. Rains represented the committee, Bonding Together and Building Together which is separate from Pampa ISD.

A monetary gift was presented to Scottie Wells in appreciation for preparing the meals for the club’s meetings.
