Altrusa International Of Pampa

Altrusa International of Pampa, Texas, Inc. met on April 13, 2021 at the Pampa Chamber of Commerce with President Sheila Winton presiding. Kitty Hall served as a greeter.

The Accent was given by Ann Franklin who presented interesting facts about the month of April. The name April comes from the Latin word meaning “to open.” It is during the time when flowers and trees begin to open at springtime and has become the month for planting. The word April was named after a Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite.

Snack Paks – 1st and 3rd Mondays, 6:45 p.m.

Coupons for Military – 19,000 coupons were mailed to an Army base in Germany

Celebrating Those Who Serve others – 188 gift bags were distributed to various organizations in the community.
