Altrusa members are busy planning their annual fundraiser, Soup with Mrs. Claus, to be held Friday, December 10, 2021. The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 318 N. Cuyler, 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. A variety of soups and chili will be served as well as corn dogs, desserts and drinks. Tickets sell for $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for children ages 5-10. Children 4 and under will be free. Mrs. Claus will be available for pictures and each child will be presented a free book.
Funds from the event go toward the community projects sponsored by the club including: P.H.S Scholarships, Dual Credit Donation, Children’s Christmas Shopping Tour, Rampy Vocational Award, Make a Difference Day, Snack Pak4Kids, Tralee Crisis Center, and Senior Citizens Center.
Tickets are available from any Altrusa member or at the door while supplies last. Tickets are also available at Trash and Treasures.
