The annual “ROW” Conference for right-of-way management, conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will be Jan. 30 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center, 6500 W. Amarillo Blvd. in Amarillo.
The program will begin with registration at 8:30 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m. The fee is $20, and lunch is “on your own.” Invoices are available upon request, but no credit cards will be accepted. Make checks payable to the Leadership Advisory Board. RSVP to r-auckerman@tamu.edu or 806-364-3573.
Rick Auckerman, AgriLife Extension agriculture and natural resources agent in Deaf Smith County, said participants can earn five Texas Department of Agriculture private pesticide applicator continuing education units – three general, one laws and regulations, and one integrated pest management.
“TDA pesticide numbers must be put on the sign-in sheet. TDA will no longer take any other form of identification,” he said.
