Azden Arreola and Cader Powell were injured in a fireworks accident on July 4 weekend and Dakota Shook was injured in an accident involving a propane grill the same weekend.

All three boys were transported to a burn unit in Lubbock. Shook has since been discharged from the hospital.

Arreola and Powell have had several surgeries and are still scheduled to have several more surgeries down the road.

Arreola’s mother, Tamra Long, said the boys are still in good spirit and her family, along with the other boys’ families, appreciates the prayers and support from the Pampa community.
