Benito Rodriquez Lopez, “Mono”, age 43, of Turkey, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, unexpectedly at UMC Hospital in Lubbock. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2022 at Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Turkey. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Quitaque.
Ben was born in Lubbock, Texas on October 25, 1978, to Estefana Quilimaco and Freddy Ramirez. He was the second youngest of 9 children. Ben loved music, his family, his friends, and of course, the 49er’s. He was taken too soon, but we will always cherish the wonderful memories made, and that great big smile.
Ben is preceded in death by his mother, Estefana Quilimaco; father, Freddy Ramirez; aunt, Dominga Quilimaco; 2 uncles, Pat Rodriquez and Frank Rodriguez.
Ben is survived by his four children, Eli, Ali, Emily, and Fay; 5 brothers, Martin Carrol and wife Alice of Midland, Texas, Joe and wife Corina Baeza of Spur, Texas, Robert Qilimaco of Pampa, Texas, Daniel Quilimaco of Lubbock, Steve and wife Ruby Lopez of Clovis, New Mexico; 3 sisters, Mary and husband Arturo Reyna of Honey Grove, Texas, Josie Garcia of Pampa, Texas, and Geneva and husband Chris Phillips of Pampa, Texas, along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
