Bicycle Show and Safety Course at Lovett Memorial Library

On Thursday, July 25, several Pampa kiddos came out to the Lovett Memorial Library to learn Bicycle Safety 101 by Sgt. Hammond and Officer Armentrout of the Pampa Police Department.

Afterwards, they had the chance to show off their skills and knowledge with an obstacle course and earned a certificate upon completion.

The bike decorating contest brought out the imagination of these creative kiddoes and they gave their best efforts to wow the judges and four winners were chosen, two of those winners being tied.

One lucky winner was drawn from a drawing and got to go home on a brand new bike.

The Lovett Memorial Library thanks Altrusa International of Pampa, Sarah Oxley Doucette, and Friends of the Library who volunteered, the Pampa Police Department, the Fountain of Sunshine for being there at the ready to cool down the attendants, and the parents who brought their kiddos out to participate in the fun event.
