Boy Scout Troop #0657 for Special Needs Boys recently had their bimonthly meeting at VFW Post 1657.

The meeting began with pledging to the American Flag then reciting the Scout Oath.

Once it concluded, Scoutmaster Norman Kaze brought out his Quilt of Valor he received at last week’s VFW meeting. These quilts are meant to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.

Boy Scouts Austin, Caleb, and Charles honored Scoutmaster Kaze by covering him with the quilt.

The meeting then continued with Scoutmaster Kaze reviewing the different types of knots the Boy Scouts have learned thus far.

Boy Scout Troop #0657 for Special Needs Boys meets at the VFW every other Tuesday at 6:30 pm under the leadership of Norman Kaze.

For more information, or for those interested in joining, contact Kaze at (720) 496-5256.
