The City of Pampa Commissioners met Monday afternoon with a sense of normalcy as it was their first live meeting of 2021. It was also one of a handful of in-person meetings since the COVID-19 pandemic started in March 2020.

During the meeting, Dustin Chambers of Brown, Graham and Company gave the City their comprehensive annual financial report.

“We issued an unmodified opinion,” Graham said. “It’s clean and is the best opinion we have. We didn’t have any findings, any management recommendations. It went really well. We did the entire audit completely remote. Robin (Bailey, financial director) and her staff did really well. It was a lot of extra work.”

The Commissioners proceeded laud the financial department before approving the item.
