Claudette Schroeder, 90, of Anchorage, Alaska, formerly of Pampa, joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at her home in Anchorage. She was born on January 19, 1930 in Childress, Texas to Claude McAllister and Ileane Loter Jones. 

Claudette enjoyed sewing, crafting, shopping, cooking, gardening, and she never turned down the opportunity to go fishing. She had been a resident of Pampa until January of 1971 when she made her first move to Anchorage, Alaska. She remained there until 1978 as she then moved to Kenai before returning to Texas in 1996. She moved back to anchorage in 2019 with her daughter, Kelley and remained until her passing. Before her first move to Alaska, she owned Claudette’s Family Fashions clothing store in Pampa. Then, she and former husband, Willy, owned and operated Humdingers while living in Alaska and finally, during her last stint back in Pampa, she rented a booth at Trash to Treasures selling antiques and glassware for about 15 years. Claudette loved her family and certainly looked forward to attending family gatherings. She will be missed by the many lives she has so richly touched. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Daisy McAllister; stepfather, Roy N. Jones; two brothers, Bill McAllister and Larry McAllister as well as a sister, Theresa Errichiello and her grandson, Tim O’Connor.

Those left to carry on her memories are three sons, Vic Koontz and wife Deb of Pampa, Michael Dinger and wife Sarah of Anchorage, Alaska, Scott Dinger and wife Stephanie of Hauser, Idaho; two daughters, Kelley Coyle-Fleer and husband Dean of Anchorage, Alaska, Rhonda Burrill of Strong, Maine; 10 grandchildren, Aaron, Cody, Casey, Roy, Anthony, Cassie, Melissa, Zachary, Renae, Michael; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celebration of Life Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 in the Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Ian Jones officiating. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
