Posted

We are dedicated to the health and safety of our patients, employees, and communities. Pampa Regional Medical Center is implementing CDC and Texas Department of Health guidance on Coronavirus precautions and are working together to ensure the hospital and our community are prepared.

New policies to ensure the safety of our patients have been created to maintain a safe environment for treatment and healing.

For visitor at the hospital and clinics:

-Only one visitor per patient will be permitted inside the building and waiting areas will not be accessible to extra visitors. This includes, but is not limited to inpatient visits, day surgery, outpatient procedures and clinic visits.

-No visitors under the age of 14 will be allowed in any hospital area, except an ER visit where the child is receiving a medical evaluation.

-ICU and Labor & Delivery units will be limited to only one immediate family visitor.

-All visitors will be verbally screened when entering the building. At this time, and based on the verbal screen, you could be asked to wear a mask or even to leave if necessary.

Entering the hospital and clinics:

-Main lobby doors will be open only from 8 am to 5 pm.

-Outpatient/Fast Pass doors will be open from 8 am to 5 pm.

-Pampa Medical Group doors will be open from 8 am to 5 pm.

-You may find some doors within the hospital to be closed and locked.

-Access outside these hours will be through the Emergency Room entrance only.

-All patients and visitors will be verbally screened when entering the building.
