Cynthia Moore, 65, of Pampa passed away on Friday October 8, 2021 in Amarillo.

Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Cynthia was born June 26, 1956 in Cocoa Beach, Florida to Neal and Margaret Stovall.  She graduated from Pampa High School in the class of ‘74. On August 6, 1982, Cynthia married James “Scott” Moore in Borger.  He passed away on December 9, 2018.  Cynthia began her career at the early age of 19 with Southwestern Bell Telephone and later AT&T. She began as an operator and retired in 2009 after 32 years of service.  She was always proud saying “she was a woman doing a man’s job”.  She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church.  Cynthia enjoyed being outdoors, and she loved her times at the lake fishing and swimming. Her grandchildren were very special to her, and she loved them dearly. 

Preceded in death by parents, 2 sisters, Linda Wallin and Debbie Sharpton.

Her survivors include her two daughters, Melisa Jones and husband Burton, and by Rebecca Moore and friend Brandi Walker, all of Pampa; by two granddaughters, Lily and Jozy Jones; by her grandson, Madox Jones; mother-in-law, Ilse Moore of Borger; aunt, Helen Blanton and husband Jerry of Amarillo; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Mills of Amarillo and Barbara Barnett of Borger; a brother-in-law, John Moore and wife Suzanne of Borger; stepmother, Betty Stovall of Pampa; numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her 3 loving dogs, Ike, Camo, and Levi.
