Darrel Martin, 68, of Pampa, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Pampa.
Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Jamisen Hancock, pastor of Briarwood Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Darrel was born on April 6, 1953 in Borger to Orvis and Coela Martin. He was a graduate of Pampa High School. Darrel worked for several different companies throughout the panhandle such as Copoly in Borger, City of Borger, Levis in Amarillo, Culberson-Stowers, and his most recent jobs with Dollar Tree and Pak-A-Sak in Pampa. He also was a licensed massage therapist and a member of the Texas Massage Association, and Briarwood Church. Darrel married Belinda Boyd on October 23, 1999 in Pampa. He enjoyed going to auctions as he was a collector of all types of treasures. He enjoyed working in his garden and fishing. Darrel had a caregiver heart and loved to help others. He would do anything asked of him for his family and friends. He loved his children, grandchildren, and his great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Patty Boyd.
Survivors include his wife, Belinda of the home; 4 children, Jason Martin and wife Angela of Gilmer, Vikkie Kinney and husband Adam of Borger, Phillip Watkins of Pampa, and Stormie Blain and husband Rick of Pampa; 13 grandchildren, Christian Matthews and wife Mikaela, Macie Martin, Jacob Martin, Natalie Martin, Nikki Bowles, Noele Kinney, Noah Kinney, Nevaeh Kinney, Alexxis Watkins, Rylee Watkins, Brooklyn Blain, Drue Blain and Brittany Meyer; 5 great grandchildren, Easton Martin, Jaxson Kramer, Camryn Matthews, Layla Young, and Layton Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.
