District court sentencings

The following cases were filed in the 223rd Judicial District Court of Gray County:

• In a judgment adjudicating guilt, Jason Curtis King was sentenced to 18 months state jail division for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram.

• In a judgment adjudicating guilt, Tyler James Sowards was sentenced to 12 months state jail division for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram. Sowards was also sentenced to 12 months state jail division for theft of property less than $2,500 with two or more previous convictions.

  In a judgment of conviction by the court, Justin Mark Welch was sentenced to nine months for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3/4 less than 28 grams. Welch was also sentenced to three years institutional division of TDCJ for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one greater than/equal to one gram and less than four grams.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Alexandra Renae Gutierrez was sentenced to 10 years institutional division for assault family/household member previous conviction IAT.

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Jacoby Wayne Patterson was placed on five years of community supervision for burglary of a habitation and theft of a firearm.

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Nathan Joe Herrera was placed on community supervision for two years for harassment of a public servant.

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Ashley Jo Fleetwood was placed on community supervision for four years for theft of property greater than/equal to $2,500 and less than $30,000 enhanced. Fleetwood was also placed on four years of community supervision for fraud use/possession of identifying information number of items less than five (elderly).

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, John Patrick Freeman was sentenced to two years institutional division for injury to child/elderly/disabled with intent of bodily injury.
