District Court Sentencings

The following cases were filed in the 223rd District Court:

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Troyce Reeves was placed on two years of deferred adjudication community supervision for burglary of a building.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Alex Williams Haler was sentenced to two days in Gray County Jail for possession/delivery of drug paraphernalia.

• In a judgment of conviction by the court, Juston Louis Martinez was sentenced to 10 years institutional division Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for kidnapping-lesser included. Martinez was also sentenced to 10 years institutional division TDCJ for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-enhanced.

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Geneva Maria Villarreal was placed on deferred adjudication community supervision for two years for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one less than one gram.

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Morgan Daniel Gober was placed on deferred adjudication community supervision for three years for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one greater than/equal to one gram and less than four grams.

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Bobby Dewayne Lacher was sentenced to two years of period of deferred adjudication community supervision for injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intent of bodily injury.

• In an order of deferred adjudication, Brian Thomas was sentenced to four years of period of deferred adjudication community supervision for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one greater than/equal to four grams and less than 200 grams.

In a judgment of conviction by the court, Benjamin Samuel Griffin was sentenced to five years institutional division TDCJ for robbery-enhanced. Griffin was also sentenced to five years institutional division for possession of a controlled substance penalty group one greater than/equal to four grams and less than 200 grams.
