With heavy hearts we want to acknowledge the wonderful life of Dorothea Gene Goodwin that began on August 31, 1926, and ended on September 30, 2022. She was the second child of E. M. Keller and Ida Clodfelter Keller and had two siblings, her older sister, Imogene Stewart, and younger brother, Bob Keller. Much of her youth was spent in Borger and Pampa, Texas. She survived her parents, siblings, and husband, Charles Guy Goodwin, Jr. She is survived by her four children, sons, Richard (Leslie), Jerry (Vicki), and Guy (Sally), and daughter, Diana (Gary) Fambro. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She graduated from Pampa High School in 1944 and lived in Pampa with her family until the family moved to the Wichita Falls area in 1967 then to Fort Worth in 2016 where she lived until her death. She and her husband, Junior, spent many wonderful days at Possum Kingdom Lake where they entertained family and friends. She was full of love, faith, energy, and kindness. She knew how to love and be loved. She was always there to support anyone in need. Her Christian faith and trust in Jesus were very important to her and we are sure there was a big celebration when she arrived in heaven where we will see her again. We will miss her smile and her wonderful cooking. Services will be held at Hampton Vaughn Crestview funeral home in Wichita Falls on Saturday October 8 at 2 pm.
