Earma “Ma” Pyle, 85, of Pampa passed away Friday, February 21, 2020 at home.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Briarwood Church with Rev. Lynn Hancock, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Pyle was born on November 27, 1934 in Erick, Oklahoma to Elsie and Frankie Tignor. She grew up in Sweetwater, Oklahoma and married Kenneth Pyle on June 6, 1950 at Sayre, Oklahoma. Kenneth preceded her in death, after 50 years of marriage, on October 24, 2000. Ma moved to Pampa in 1974 and was a homemaker and Hair Stylist. She owned and worked in several hair shops, and most recently worked at Hot Headz. Earma loved spending time with her children, doing puzzles, crocheting and baking rum cake. On Saturday afternoons, in the Fall you could find Ma watching her Oklahoma Sooners play football. She was a member of Briarwood Church.

She was preceded in death by a son Lynn Pyle in 1996.

Ma is survived by two daughters, Carla Taylor and husband Clint of Pampa and Willaina Alexander of Pampa; two sons, Larry Wayne Pyle and wife Wilma of Pampa and Doug Pyle of Pampa; eight grandchildren, Amy Crossman and wife Mollie of Pampa, Brooke Pyle of Pampa, Jesse Pyle and wife Dilcia of Borger, Tim Pyle and wife Shonda of Sunset, Louisiana, Jared Pyle of Pampa, Jake Pyle of Amarillo, Aric Luedecke and wife Cat of Amarillo, and Chad Taylor and wife Erica of Pampa; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
