Eddie Jo Williamson, 86, of Pampa and formerly of College Station, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Pampa.

Private family graveside services will be held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa. Burial and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Eddie Jo was born December 23, 1936 in Creston, LA to J. O. and Hilma Conlay. She grew up in central Louisiana and graduated from Goldonna High School. After high school, she married the love of her life, Donald G. Williamson. They married on August 9, 1957 in Shreveport, LA. They celebrated 65 years of marriage. They reared their children in Shreveport and Houston.

Eddie Jo became a follower of Jesus at the age of 16 and served her Lord faithfully through her local churches in the Children’s Ministry and Internationals Ministry. After retirement, they moved to College Station in 1997, and moved to Pampa in April of 2023. Eddie Jo was a wonderful seamstress and cook. She loved nurturing her husband and her family. She was known as “Mother” to her children and “Grandmother” to her grandchildren and will be missed dearly. 

Eddie Jo was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Roy L. Conlay and G.W. Conlay; and a grandson, Cole Williamson.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Glen Williamson; two sons, Keith Wayne Williamson and wife Kimberly and Byron Ray Williamson and wife Jana; five granddaughters, Kendall Williamson, Kirby Crenwelge and husband Luke, Kellie Williamson, Ashley Oglesby and husband Chris, and Bethany Davis and husband Tanner; grandson, Colby Williamson and wife Beth; two great granddaughters, Ellie Oglesby and Emmie Oglesby; and three great grandsons, Preston Oglesby, Peter Oglesby and Marcus Williamson.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to First Baptist Church of Pampa, PO Box 621, Pampa, Texas 79066, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or a favorite charity.
