Edward Alton “Al” Bolton, 74, a longtime resident of Pampa, passed away November 26, 2020, surrounded by family.

Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Pastor Lonny Robbins officiating.  Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.  The funeral service will be live-streamed through the funeral home website.

Al was born June 21, 1946 in Corbin, Kentucky to Blaine and Anna Bolton.  He was a graduate of Corbin High School.  Al married Pat Dalton on January 13, 1970. He was a long time insurance salesman and branch manager. He attended Lamar Church and was part of the founding members of Trinity Fellowship in Pampa and also attended Briarwood Fellowship Church in Pampa.

He was a faithful Christian who put God first and passed those values to his family and community.  Al loved for his family to visit often.  He was referred to as “Peepaw” by all his grandchildren.

He was an upstanding member of Hidden Hills Senior Golf Association. He often thought of the men he played with as brothers rather than friends. 

Al will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather and a great great grandfather, brother, friend and advice giver, and will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life; Pat and parents; Blaine and Anna Bolton.

Survivors include his brother Eugene Bolton & wife Ruby of Corbin, KY;  two sons Blaine Bolton and wife Leslie of White Deer; Shane Kotara and wife Laurraine of Houston; grandchildren, Tiffany Reames and husband Jerrad ; Taylor Ferguson and husband Cade, Mikayle Bolton, Colton Fincher, Jennifer Kotara, Colby Dennis, Danielle Kotara, five great grandchildren, Chase Voss, Maciee Voss, Jenny Quizenberry, Paisley Ferguson and Colt Ferguson; one great great grandson Milo Holloway; and daughter, Tena Kotara.

Memorials can be sent to Hidden Hills Senior Golf Association or a favorite charity.

The family will receive friends at the family residence.
