Ella Mae Crawford, 86, of Pampa passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 in Pampa at her home.

Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 24, 2021 at Hobart Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Watson, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Dumas, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Ella was born November 12, 1934 in Matagorda County, Texas at the original Bohuslav homestead on the banks of the Tres Palacios River. She attended school at Tidehaven School District. On July 20, 1974 she married David Crawford. Soon after they married, she began to work at D & J Electric in Bay City. In the mid 90’s they made their way to Pampa, where they would make their home. Ella was a longtime member of Hobart Baptist Church. She enjoyed writing letters to her family and friends, reading western novels, and watching old movies. She also enjoyed spending time with her husband hunting and saltwater fishing. Mostly fished in the bays along the south coast of Texas and hunted in south Texas and Wheeler County on their Buck Ridge Ranch. Ella also spent a lot of time Facebooking to follow her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Robert and Lillie May Bohuslav; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Wayne Anderson.

Survivors include her husband, David Crawford of the home; daughter, Kenda DeLynne Beall, and husband Douglas of Austin; 4 sons, Joseph Martin Frick and wife Tina, Charles Robert “Bubba” Frick and wife Sandy, and Otto Frick all of Markham, and Kendall Crawford of Houston; sister, Lois “BB” Quinney and husband Edward “Britches” of Markham; 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
