Entries will open Monday, May 22, 2023, for the Top O’ Texas Rodeo Association’s Kid Pony Show and
Junior Rodeo to be held at the Top O’ Texas / B & G Electric Arena on Saturday, July 22.
The Kid Pony Show will start the day off at 9:00 a.m. Open to ages 8 and under (Groups 1 & 2), this performance always provides lots of fun and entertainment for contestants and spectators alike. Buckles will be awarded to the Top 3 finishers of the events in these groups. Participant ribbons will be presented to all
Kid Pony Show contestants.
The Junior Rodeo will begin at 7:00 p.m. Open to ages 9-18 (Groups 3-5), paybacks as well as added money will be awarded to winners of the various events. The number of places awarded will be determined by the number of entries in an event. Buckles will be presented to the All-Around Cowgirl and Cowboy of each group. A contestant must be entered in at least 3 events to qualify for the All-Around title.
Birth certificates (unless on file from a previous year) and proof of current Coggins are required for both events.
Entries are due by 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 11. Late entries will be accepted until 5:00 p.m., July 18, with an added $15 late fee. No exceptions will be allowed.
