Entry deadline for Jr. Rodeo and Kid Pony Show coming up

Entry deadlines for the Top O’ Texas Jr. Rodeo and Kid Pony Show are fast approaching. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 27. Late entries accepted until August 3, by 5 p.m. with an added $15 late fee. Birth certificates are required for all entries or contestants will not be allowed to compete.

The Kid Pony Show will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7. The Jr. Rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. that evening.

Entries are also being accepted for the fifth annual Mutton Bustin Extravaganza to be held during the 74th annual Top O’ Texas Rodeo Aug. 13-14. Open to ages 7 & under, there is no limit as to how many contestants can enter, but each rider may only ride once as this is a single elimination format. The first round of the Extravaganza will be held during the barbecue on Friday night. The Top 10 finishers will advance to the Finals to be held during Saturday’s rodeo performance. Buckles will be awarded to the top 3 places. Birth certificates are required and these entries are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 10. Entry fee is $20.

All events will be held at the Top O’ Texas/B & G Electric arena east of Pampa.
