FAIR. Water clear; 52 degrees; 10.67 feet below pool. Despite the high winds last week reports of big crappie biting at the Crappie House on minnows. Report by Bait Kandy Corp.

Arrowhead

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 50 degrees; 6.21 feet below pool. Catfish are on shallow flats in 6-12 feet of water biting fresh cut shad or punch bait. Crappie are starting to move shallow biting on minnows or jigs. Report by Brandon Brown, Brown’s Guide Service..

Greenbelt

SLOW. Water stained; 50 degrees; 45.51 feet below pool. Few reports due to few anglers on the water.

Hubbard Creek

SLOW. Water Stained; 58 degrees; 7.72 feet below pool. Bass are slow on jigs and crankbaits along the rocks and rock cuts. Crappie are good in the Hubbard Creek and Sandy Creek arm.

Meredith

SLOW. Water stained; 46-47 degrees; 55.03 feet below pool. Water temperature has begun to climb nicely. March should be a good beginning to an awesome spring bite, but April, May and June should be phenomenal. Bass are slow on minnows and artificials. Catfish are slow on minnows and frozen shad. Crappie are slow but minnows are still the ticket. White bass are fair on minnows, and jig heads with a curly tailed grub. Trout are good on power baits, worms, small spinners and flies. Walleye are fair on minnows and grubs in 27 feet of water. Please be safe out there, watch weather reports. Life vests save lives. Hope this helps you enjoy Lake Meredith. Millers Creek

GOOD. Water stained; 55 degrees; 5.91 feet below pool. Bass are biting on ledges using Texas or Carolina rigs, football jigs and crankbaits. Crappie are good on standing timber and brush piles with minnows or small jigs. Catfish are good on cut baits and cheese bait. White bas

O.H. Ivie

GOOD. Water stained; 58 degrees; 23.65 feet below pool. Largemouth bass are good, with a 14 pound ShareLunker caught. White bass are fair with live bait and crankbaits. Crappie fair with jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair on prepared baits, cut bait and live bait. Report by Concho Park and Marina.

Possum Kingdom

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 50- 54 degrees; 5.91 feet below pool. Striper fishing is good and using live shad is still the key to catching them. Some can be caught using white, chartreuse, and pink jigs and deadstick techniques. Sand bass are excellent. Most are being caught using small live shad but some are being caught using white jigs and slabs. Eater size catfish are fair.
