Five new positive COVID-19 cases, seven recoveries

Thursday evening, the City of Pampa and Gray County were notified by the Texas Department of State Health Services of five new positive COVID-19 (Coronavirus) cases in Gray County. These new cases bring our overall total to 52 overall positives. 

All five of these new cases are community spread with all five quarantined in their home. 

Thursday morning the City of Pampa and Gray County were notified by the Texas Department of State Health Services of four new positive COVID-19 (Coronavirus) cases in Gray County. These new cases bring our overall total to 47 overall positive cases. 

All four of these new cases are community spread with all four quarantined in their home. 

Also Thursday the City of Pampa and Gray County can confirm seven new recoveries from COVID- 19 bringing that total to 16. 

With the new cases today our overall totals read like this: 52 total cases, 16 recoveries, 36 active cases 

The City has updated the report card on www.pampaalerts.com to try to make it a little more user friendly. 

As you can see the community is still gaining positives. With things beginning to open back up please be mindful that this is still out there and please practice all the guideline set forth to help protect you and your loved ones.

Wednesday morning the City of Pampa and Gray County were notified by the Texas Department of State Health Services of one more offender testing positive for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in Gray County. 

This new case brings the total number of offenders within the TDCJ that are COVID-19 positive to nine.
