As Editor of The Pampa News, I feel it is my responsibility to seek out the answers Pampa residents have. With the upcoming bond election, there is no doubt that a divide has come between ‘yes or no’ for the May 6th election. While there are pros and cons to both sides, the pros seem to outweigh the oppositions. Some concerns and questions might not have been answered in ‘plain English’ regarding what the passing of the bond would mean. As Editor, this is where I feel I can shed light on those areas. I ask those that are opposed to the bond election, or questionable about what the bond will do and change for our city and school district, to send those questions my way. I will take in any questions or concerns you may have, and seek out those who can answer them. I will take the time to get answers in the simplest form from those in leadership positions for this election. We are only a few weeks out from the beginning of early voting and it’s owed to the public to have total transparency with this bond election the school district would like passed. In getting these concerns/questions answered, we as a community then hold those in charge responsible, feet to the fire, on the changes they’ve promised if the bond is passed. Help me, help you. Send me your questions/concerns to pampanewseditor@gmail.com and I will take those questions and get the answers we deserve before we vote on anything.
