Georgina Marie Milum, fifty-four year-old insurance agent and entrepreneur of Dallas, TX, passed away from complications of the treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia April 4, 2020, in Baylor Scott & White T. Boone Pickens Cancer Hospital. Due to Covid-19 restrictions only her daughter, Lauren, could be there with her.

Also, due to Covid-19 quarantine restrictions, a family memorial service was not able to be held until July 4, 2021, at Bradenton Beach, Anna Maria Island, FL. The occasion will be the annual Howlett Maternal Cousins’ Trip.

Georgina Marie Milum. was born on September 3, 1965, in in Shattuck, OK to George Brice Milum and Jean Coralie Williams Milum.  She graduated from high school in Pampa, TX.  After attending McMurry University, In Abilene, TX she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX.

She always had many irons in the fire and specialized in Life and Health Insurance for both group and individuals (licensed both locally and nationally), was employed as a bookkeeper for a private family in Dallas for over 20 years,  and was an entrepreneur with her own businesses including network marketing, vending machines, and joint businesses with her daughters.

On September 9, 1983, Georgina married Danny Wayne Stout in Pampa, TX. They had a daughter, Lauren Jade.  On December 30, 1990, Georgina married Mark A. West in Pampa, TX. They had a daughter, Ashley Lynn West. On June 15, 2001, Georgina married Bryan Morris in Dallas, TX to which no children were born.

Georgina enjoyed sailing her sailboat, reading numerous financial and entrepreneurial books, and traveling. She was known for her devotion to healthy eating and lifestyle, particularly after recovering from nearly dying of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in October of 2017.

Ms. Milum was preceded in death by her parents, George Brice on March 2, 1972 and Coralie on February 16, 2011.  Surviving to honor her memory are her daughters, Lauren of Dallas, TX  and Ashley of Farmers Branch, TX,  brother,  Dierk Timothy Milum of Amarillo, TX,  nephew, Blake Milum of Amarillo, TX and niece, Paige Milum of Denver, CO, cousins and numerous friends.

The disbursement of the remains will be marked by the immediate family at a private time to be determined in the Higgins, TX Cemetery.
