Easton Willis twirled a one-hit shutout allowing only two base runners as the Glo-Valve Service Dodgers triumphed over the Lefors Volunteer Fire Department 10-0 Tuesday in Pampa Optimist 11-12 Cal Ripken league play.

Willis struck out nine and walked one. Tyler Howard and Aiden Ferguson pitched for Lefors.

Glo-Valve scored in every inning. In the bottom of the first, David Buendia tripled home Easton, who had singled. Buendia came home on a wild pitch. In the second inning Weston Jones singled, sole two bases and tallied on a ground out by Hagen Hudson. Aiden Hammond walked, stole a base, moved up on a fielder’s choice and scored on an error. The third inning saw Danny Moncado walk, steal a pair of bases and thunder home on a wild pitch.

The league leaders put the game away in the bottom of the fourth inning scoring five times on walks to Willis and Hudson and hits by Hammond, Buendia and Moncado.

Buendia and Moncado were credited with RBIs. The others scored on wild pitches.

Archer Soto, with a walk in the third inning, and Ferguson, with a double in the fourth, spoiled Willis’ bid for a perfect game. Both were left on third after stolen bases.

Glo-Valve will round out the regular season by playing the Rotary Club Phillies Friday and the Flogistix Red Sox on Monday. Both games are scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start.
