The Gray County Buyers Club is conducting a raffle fundraiser through Jan. 18, 2020 for a 2019 John Deere RSX 860M Gator. The tractor will come with a 14-foot tandem axle trailer with ramps custom-built by Trailer’s Etc.
The Gray County Buyers Club is a non-profit organization supporting Gray County 4-H and FFAs in the county.
“We help in supporting their livestock projects,” member Ryan Davis said. “We are the ones who put on the shows such as the Top O’ Texas Swine Show, Top O’ Texas Cattle, Sheep and Goat Show and the County Show. We put on those shows and we also help with monetary donations toward the kids’ projects.”
This is the second year the Club has held the fundraiser and the raffle drawing will be held the night of the Gray County Junior Livestock Sale on Jan. 18, 2020. Western Equipment helped with providing the tractor and Trailer’s Etc. built the trailer.
Tickets are $20 for one or six for $100. They can be purchased from Ryan Davis at 806-886-8118, Maul’s Feed and Seed, Capital Farm Credit, Western Equipment or any 4-H or FFA livestock participant.
The Top o’ Texas Livestock Show for sheep, goat, steers and heifers will be held Jan. 4-5, 2020 and the Swine Show will be Dec. 7-8. The Junior Livestock Sale will be Jan. 18, 2020.
