Harvester Football Update from Cody Robinson - Sept. 1, 2022

FRESHMAN: The freshman football team had a decisive victory over the Big Spring Steers Thursday night 64-8. The win was a great showing of P.R.I.D.E. A few freshmen that stood out were Isaac Almanza (two defensive TD’s), Kaviontra Branch, Andrew Waldrip, and Kaleb Garland. Also scoring for The Harvesters were Jose Alonzo, Jeremiah Davis, Makai Boyce, and Jarren Hill. Freshman Harvesters who earned their P were Tristan Bagwell and Robert Galvan! The freshmen take on the Plainview Bulldogs this Thursday night in Plainview.

JV: The Steers from Big Spring came to Pampa last Thursday. The game started with a huge stop by the Defense, and the defensive momentum continued throughout the game.
Noah Viers. Karol Ojeda, Mason Childress, and Elijah Torres led the defense all night and stifled The Steer air attack. Offensively The Harvesters were led by Isaiah Estrada, TJ
Mendenhall, and Rylan Rhoades, and Karol Ojeda. When the final seconds fell off of clock the Harvesters finished with a victory ! Harvesters who earned their P were Elijah Torres and Rylan Rhoades!
Pampa 44 Big Springs 20. Our JV will play Plainview this Thursday at 6:30 PM

VARSITY: Friday, the green team traveled to Big Spring and brought back an outstanding come from behind victory and complete the all level sweep over Big Spring!
Leading the way offensively for the Harvesters were QB Michael Campos, Offensive Lineman Andres Cervantes, WR Justin Martinez and RB Max Neff

The Harvesters Defense, led by Preston Stroud, Austin Bruce and Corbin Knapp had a huge fourth down stop and forced a turnover to hold the Big Spring air attack. Great job by the Harvesters showing character and fighting. Harvesters never quit! The Harvesters take on the Plainview Bulldogs, Friday September 2, at 7pm. The first home game of the season!
