Jessie Lee Samuel Alexander, 70 years of age, of Pampa, Texas, took her Savior’s hand early on the morning of Saturday, March 4, 2023, to live eternally with no more pain or darkness. She was born on June 12, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas to Lauston and Gertrude Samuel.

Having been a lifelong resident of Pampa, Jessie graduated from Pampa High School then attended Amarillo College. Her love of helping others greatly contributed to her passion of being a housekeeper as well as an in-home caregiver to several of Pampa’s residents. She is also known for being a smiling face behind the counter of Gas “N’ Stuff and an active member of Saint Mark Methodist Church.

Jessie was down-to-earth, always smiling and cutting up with those she encountered and although she had the sweetest soul – she didn’t mind expressing her honest opinion! She enjoyed playing the slot machines and gambling a little and was blessed with the ability to cook wonderful food.

She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents; a beloved daughter, Treva Samuel Brown; two brothers, Lauston Samuel and Bennie Samuel.

Her memories will be cherished by a son, Gary Alexander and wife Elizabeth West of Pampa; a sister, Ethel May Williams of Midland; three grandchildren, Boston Alexander, Jassmine Brown, Amber Brown and a great-grandson, Jaiden Brown.

Ms. Jessie will be available to pay respects on Wednesday, from 3 to 8 pm and again on Thursday from 9am to 8pm at Winegeart Funeral Home, 303 N Frost Street.

Celebration of Life Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday, March 10, 2023 at Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum with Reverend Dupee Moore officiating. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
