Joe Don Skinner, Jr., 63, of Fritch and formerly of Pampa, passed away on June 14, 2021 in Fritch.

Celebration of life services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jim Sinyard of Carpenter’s Church, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Joe will be available for viewing from 2:00 PM- 8:00 PM on Tuesday, 8:00 AM- 8:00 PM on Wednesday, and from 8:00 AM- 12:00 PM on Thursday.

Joe was born on July 21, 1957 in Shamrock to Jane and Joe Don, Skinner, Sr. Joe grew up and attended school in Pampa, graduating from the class of ’75. After high school he went to work for Cabot for a few years but later took a job at Hunting-Titan where he worked for 37 years and until his passing. He met Lori Willborn in 2004 and they later married in 2007. Joe was a long time and avid motocross enthusiast and he excelled at motocross racing. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan. Joe also liked the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family at the family farm in Texola. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Marvin and Claircy Skinner, and maternal grandparents, Bob and Lucy Gipson.

His survivors include his wife, Lori Skinner of the home; four daughters, Erika Ellis and husband Randy of Pampa, Jade Skinner and husband Brock Couch of Little Elm, Lana Frazier and husband Chad of New Caney, and Mika and Adam Bell of Stratford; parents, Jane and Joe Don Skinner Sr.; eleven grandchildren, Brynlei Ellis, Adilyn Ellis, Caelan Couch, Declan Couch, Audrey Frazier, Colby Frazier, Hadley Frazier, Jake Frazier, Trevor Bell, Addison Bell, and Makenzie Bell; two brothers, Jeff Skinner and wife Kim, and Jerry Skinner, all of Pampa; mother of Erika and Jade, Debby Daniel and husband Bruce of Canyon; his mother and father-in-law, Nancy and Bobby Flick of Kress; brother-in-law, Russell Flick and wife Tommie of Kress; his special fur-baby, Tater; and by other extended family.
