Guests at Pampa H20 Water Park are in for a treat on Fridays throughout the summer as the local La Quinta Inn and Suites will be hosting “Fruit Friday” from 3 to 4 p.m. throughout the summer.
“Every year, other than the Covid years, since we opened we’ve started volunteering to sponsor ‘Fruit Friday,’” Connie Winegeart, manager of La Quinta Inn and Suites, said. “We will take fruit for the kids during the break time from 3 to 4 p.m. That is sponsored by our hotel all summer.
“It’s strictly by La Quinta Inn and Suites. It started as a way to get our name out there and give back but now it’s become a tradition. The kids love it. It’s something to look forward to on Fridays.”
Guests who stay at La Quinta Inn and Suites also receive kids passes for the water park.
