Lady Harvesters Shut Out Perryton 20-0

On a beautiful day in Perryton, the Pampa Lady Harvesters pounded out twelve base hits and defeated the Perryton Rangerettes by a score of 20-0. With the win, Pampa stays in a three-way tie with Randall and Canyon for first place.

Pampa started out hot in the top of the first inning as they would send twelve batters to the plate and score seven runs.

In the top of the second inning, Pampa would add six more runs to take a commanding 13-0 lead after two innings.

Pampa would add five more runs in the top of the third, to push the score to 18-0 after three innings.

Pampa would add two final runs in the top of the fifth to complete the 20-0 victory over Perryton.

Carsyn Hunt would go 2-3 with two walks and four runs scored and an RBI. McKinley Daniels was 2-2 with three walks and three runs scored, and two RBI’s. Maecie Hawthorne went 1-4, with a three RBI double. Kynleigh Kirby scored two runs; Cassidy Stanhope was 1-1 with a walk. Hallie Hawthorne had an RBI and two runs scored. Cambree Dyer was 2-2 with two RBI’s and Myrna Ramirez drew two walks and scored a run. Brianna Cloud had two walks, an RBI and a run scored. Reagan Dyer went 2-2 with three RBI’s and two runs scored. Karina Gonzalez was 1-3, with an RBI and a run scored and Briley Daniels was 1-2, with a walk, two RBI’s and a run scored.

Hallie Hawthorne went the distance in the circle pitching five innings, giving up no runs and three hits, striking out 12 with no walks.

Pampa will host the Borger Lady Bulldogs on Friday at Lady Harvester Field, and the following week will host Canyon on April 18th (Senior Day) and then finish out the season in Dumas on April 21st. At press time, Pampa has a half game lead over Canyon and Randall. Dumas and Borger are tied for fourth at 6-4. The top four teams make the UIL playoffs.
