Larry Edward Sloan, 53 of Huntington Beach, Ca and native of Pampa Texas passed away May 23rd, 2023.
His Memorial Service will be 11:00am Saturday June 24th at Briarwood Church, 1800 W. Harvester Ave. All are welcome to come be with his children and family.
Larry Edward was born May 4th, 1970, in Pampa Texas to Melba Wolfle and Steven Sloan. Larry moved to Huntington Beach, CA in 1993 and became a Crane Operator for Thomas Crane & Trucking. Larry enjoyed working, riding dirt bikes, and driving his boat to fast. He loved being with friends and was always the life of the party.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl & Carolea Summers of Lefors, Fred and Sid Sloan of Pampa, his father Steven Sloan, his Brother-in-law Brian Barrett, and his daughter Amber Raye.
Larry Edward will always be remembered and loved by his 3 children, Rachelle Lynn Sloan, Jake Edward Sloan, and Cody Edward Sloan of Clarksville, TN. His current wife Cindy Sloan of Huntington Beach, CA, his mother Melba Wolfle of Pampa, Tx, his grandchildren Amber Jade, Riley Elizabeth, Levi Edward, and Olivia Raye. His sisters Shelly Barrett and Tiffany Sloan.
Larry Edward was full of energy and larger than life in everything he did and there was nothing that he couldn’t do, nothing he couldn’t drive and nothing he couldn’t build, from teaching his kids how to operate a F350 or dirt bikes to moving 60,000 pounds of metal on a steep hill. He will be loved and missed by so many families and friends and the world has lost an amazing man, son, husband, father, brother, and friend.
