Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

I was asked to write a letter because of my strong beliefs in voting yes in the upcoming bond election.  I graduated from Pampa High and my husband and I have had two children and one grandson graduate from PHS with another grandson graduating in May.  Our children and grandchildren have been and are currently involved in many different activities, sports mainly, and we travel around the State to various schools.  Our students and teachers deserve the very best we can offer.  One school we visited has an olympic size indoor swimming pool, others have beautiful tennis facilities, basketball and volleyball gyms.  I truly believe our teachers and students will benefit from updated facilities.  It won’t be less expensive in the future.  I feel new businesses coming to town might look at our schools as perhaps a deciding factor.  I urge everyone to vote on May 6th for the future of our children and grandchildren.  Early voting begins April 24th at the Administration Building from 7:00 to 7:00 week days through May 2nd.  You will also have an opportunity to vote Saturday April 29th from 10:00 to 2:00 at the Admin. Building.  Election Day May 6th 7-7 at M. K. Brown Auditorium.  Vote early to avoid the lines but PLEASE vote.
