Altrusa International of Pampa, Texas, Inc. met December 14 ,2021 with Sheila Winton, president presiding. Trudy Sprinkle attended as a guest. Kerrick Horton and Myrna Orr served as greeters.
The Accent was given by Brenda Tucker who reminded members of the Nominating Committee to be elected in January. An update on the Altrusa Foundation changes was also given.
Membership Milestone Certificates were distributed to the following members: Brenda Guess, 10 years; Myrna Orr, 35 years; Judy Warner, 35 years; Pat Johnson, 40 years; Louise Bailey, 45 years; Mary McDaniel , 60 years.
The resignation of Virginia Fessenden was accepted with regret.
The appointment of Debra Howell to fill the vacancy of Foundation Treasurer was approved.
Reports on the success of “Soup with Mrs. Claus” were given and appreciation was expressed to all members for their help.
The “Twelve Good Deeds of Christmas” project has included: Christmas Cards for Soldiers, Meals on Wheels, Children’s Shopping Tour, Celebration of Lights, PAWS, Gray Cares Blessing Bags, Tralee Angel Tree, Reading at Community Daycares, Snack Pak4 Kids, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Good Samaritan, and Soup with Mrs. Claus book donation.
