Longtime Pampa veterinarian announces retirement

After 39 years of serving the Pampa area at Easley Animal Hospital, Dr. Easley has made the bittersweet decision to retire and enjoy spending more time with his wife, Katie, and his eight grandkids.

As newcomers to Pampa in 1981 Dr. Easley and his wife oversaw the construction of their dream practice and have spent every year since providing professional and compassionate care to countless furry family members.

It has been an amazing honor and blessing for Dr. Easley to spend his days doing what he loves, working with a staff that became like family, and serving clients that were also friends.

It isn’t an easy decision to walk away from a career so personally fulfilling, but Dr. Easley does so humbled by having been able to chase the calling he felt as a young undergrad at Texas A&M. Easley Animal Hospital was far more than a clinic, it was a family business built upon pride and the desire to serve, and what mattered most were all of the footsteps and pawsteps coming through the front door from 1981 to now.

It has been an incredible journey and a blessing far greater than words can convey serving Pampa and the surrounding area. Dr. Easley is proud to have a hometown individual and fellow Aggie vet, Dr. Whitney Jackson, assume ownership and continue its legacy of caring for each client with the utmost care and the highest standard.
