Love Is In The Hair

Tastazia Lofton-Ledet, owner of T Styles Palace, has been braiding hair since she was young. Now, the 23 year old will be hosting the grand opening of her own braiding and hair salon, T Styles Palace.

Lofton-Ledet is happily married and is the mother of three wonderful boys, one of which has long beautiful hair. Lofton-Ledet braids his hair to maintain it and keep it healthy. People were interested in who did his braids and it was because of this interest that Lofton-Ledet began her hair braiding business, T Styles Palace.

“At first, it was just with family. Eventually, it became this big thing,” Lofton-Ledet said.

Since then, Lofton-Ledet has gained a sizable clientele. Her business has flourished to the point of reaching a new milestone: her own salon location.

T Styles Palace, located at 601 Kentucky Avenue - Suite 202, will be having its grand opening on March 3rd from 4 to 6 pm.

Lofton-Ledet offers a multitude of hair services. From braiding to dreadlocks to silk presses, Lofton-Ledet can do it all. Natural hair treatments such as deep conditioning and hot oil treatments are also available. T Styles Palace will also have an area reserved for nail services.

“My cousin, Ashley, will have a location in my shop as well. She does press on nails,” Lofton-Ledet said.

Lofton-Ledet expressed her sincerest gratitude to those who have helped her with her business.

“My husband and my sisters are my biggest supporters,” Lofton-Ledet said. “My husband went above and beyond to give me my own spot and reached out to my sisters to help put it together.”
