Margaret Milam, 73, of Pampa, formerly of McLean, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in Pampa.
Memorial graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Panhandle Cemetery with Pastor Thacker Haynes, pastor of First United Methodist Church, and Mark Putman, grandson, officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Margaret was born April 7, 1946 in Panhandle and was a 1964 graduate of Panhandle High School. She was the secretary at McLean Independent School District for over 20 years. After retiring, Margaret worked in the floral department at United. She played a vital role in raising her grandson, Kade. Margaret was a Methodist, loved traditional gospel music, and was famous for her chocolate sheet cakes.
Survivors include a daughter, Le Arnn of Pampa; a son, Tom Milam and wife Jullie of Panhandle; 4 grandchildren, Mark Putman of Clarendon, Dakota Milam of Seattle, Washington, Nicole Milam of Amarillo, and Kade Arnn of Pampa; 2 nieces, Dawna Hearon and Robin McCullough.
