Marilee C. Elledge, 90, of White Deer, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, in Pampa.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022, Marilee’s birthday, with a time and place to be determined at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Marilee was born on June 16, 1931, in Dimmitt, Texas to Bill and Mabel Cooper. She was raised in Dimmitt, attending school there. After high school, she married Don Elledge in the late 1940s. The couple lived in Perryton for a few years, but eventually moved to Pampa. Marilee worked as a legal secretary in Pampa for several years but was also an amazing housewife. She loved to cook for her family. She was a great seamstress and could sew anything. Marilee had many hobbies outside of work. She liked to travel, ride motorcycles, ride horses, square dance, spend time with friends, and loved to be with her family and her dog, Tigger. She had several friends at the Pampa Senior Citizens and The Meredith Place and will be missed by many.

Marilee is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; and her brother, Billy.

She is survived by her son, Larry Elledge and wife Marion of White Deer; five grandchildren, Jacqueline Elledge, Amy Elledge, Zach Elledge, Sarah Strange and husband Allen, and Abigail Elledge; step-granddaughter, Brandy Waugh; four great-grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Will, and Sloane; two step-great-granddaughters, Brooklyn and Kaylee; two sisters, Elsie Mae Maxwell of Dimmitt, and Virgie Eva Gibson of Amarillo; former daughter-in-law, Paula Hudson of Denton; and numerous other relatives.
