Memorial Service is being held through Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Mark was born on June 30th, 1967 in Perryton, Texas to Harold and Janelle Cochran. Mark graduated from Pampa High School, and attended college at TSTI where he obtained an Associates Degree. Mark lived most of his life in Amarillo, Texas where he met the love of his life, wife, and best friend Meredith Wood. These two were together in every facet of life...always together, never apart. Mark had the most infections smile; from the moment anyone met him, they were befriended for life. Mark was full of love, laughs, jokes, and his famous nicknames for everyone; his heart was large and full of love for everyone. Mark got the most out of life, always having fun, and never having a dull moment. Mark loved outdoor activities including: snow skiing, wakeboarding, surfing at the lake, but most of all Mark loved being in the mountains of Creede, Colorado at his parents’ cabin. Here he enjoyed four-wheeling, visiting with dear friends, and relaxing on the patio by the Rio Grand River.  Mark was employed at BCL Roofing and Construction where he helped many families after some devastating storms. Mark’s love of life, smile, and compassion will be forever cherished, and he will be greatly missed by his loving wife, family, and friends.

Mark is survived by his wife Meredith, parents Harold and Janelle, brother Greg Cochran, daughter Payton Cochran, and two stepsons Logan and Layton Lamberson, in-laws Joe and Mackie Wood, brother-in-law’s Jody Wood and wife Lea Ann, Bucky Wood and wife Amy, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society with direction to the Melanoma Research Alliance.  The family would like to thank everyone for the continuous prayers and for gathering with us in this time.
