Calling All Cowgirls, The Top O’ Texas Rodeo Association is currently accepting entries for the 2022 Miss Rodeo Top O’ Texas pageant. Young ladies 17-24 years of age are eligible to compete for a chance to be crowned Queen.
This year’s pageant will be held in conjunction with the 75th Top O’ Texas Rodeo. A luncheon and style show will be held on Thursday, Aug. 11. Contestants will be giving speeches on their hometowns and modeling western outfits. The Horsemanship competition and interviews will be held Friday, Aug. 12. Coronation of Miss Rodeo Top O’ Texas 2022 will take place during the final rodeo performance on Saturday, Aug. 13.
Winners will receive many awards. Specially designed belt buckle, tiara, and sash will be awarded to Miss Rodeo Top O’ Texas. Prizes will also be awarded to the individual category winners.
The Miss Rodeo Top O’ Texas pageant is under the direction of Mandy Poole Guerrero, former Miss Rodeo Top O’ Texas and Miss Rodeo Top O’ Texas Teen.
Deadline to enter is July 15. There will be no extension of the deadline and young ladies are encouraged to enter as soon as possible. There must be at least four contestants entered to have the competition.
