Modern Moms Boutique Grand Opening

Modern Moms Boutique will be having a grand opening in a new store front location. Tori Hudson, a full-time college student and 26 year old mother of three, is the owner of Modern Moms Boutique.

Hudson officially opened Modern Moms Boutique at the White Deer Rodeo that took place July 29th through 30th. Hudson heard about the opportunity through from the owner of TNT Design, the company that made the logo on her trailer.

“I was told about the rodeo and called immediately and they had one open spot left, so I took it and we were ready to go the night before,” Hudson said.

The White Deer Rodeo opened up the doors for her ‘Modern Moms Boutique’ trailer and got her foot in the door to the market here in Pampa, as well as surrounding areas. Local Boutiques, Sweet T’s and Shabby Creek, have a Late Night Shopping on the last Thursday of every month and offered Modern Moms a spot to set up.

“The owner of Sweet T’s asked me at the rodeo to be a part of it and I was so honored and excited, so we’re definitely getting started growing a little bit which is such a blessing,” Hudson said.

Since the rodeo, Hudson has been asked to attend events in Groom and Amarillo for the following months, along with being in attendance at Pampa’s own PampaFest. The reasoning for the trailer was to be able to travel around and it has already started to make its way around the Panhandle at events and shows that are taking place.

As for the new store front location, Hudson had known that she wanted her business there prior to getting her Modern Moms Boutique trailer.

“Before I got my trailer, this spot was up for rent. I drove by one day and my first thought was, ‘One day, I’m going to have a store in there.’” Hudson said.

Modern Moms Boutique will have its grand opening on April 1st from 10 am to 4 pm. There will be hourly giveaway drawings, drinks, and snack foods. The boutique will be located on 110 E. Francis.

In addition to being a small business owner, Hudson is also a full-time college student. She will be graduating later this year from Amarillo College with her Associates Degree in Business Management - Entrepreneurship.

Hudson expressed her sincerest appreciation for all those who have encouraged her during her journey.

“I would like to thank Chad Epperson from Roll the Dice BBQ. He has encouraged me and pushed me from day one,” Hudson said. “We work really well together. It’s nice having another business owner stand behind you and encourage you.”

Hudson gives thanks to her husband, Dalton, and her grandmother, Janice Posey, for their outpouring support.

“Dalton has believed in me from the very start. My grandmother has been helping me with Modern Moms Boutique every step of the way,” Hudson said. “I appreciate them both for their support.”
