Ms. Deborah “Debbie” Bowers, age 69, passed away on April 4, 2022, in Weatherford.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, April 11, 2022, in the Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Rev. Byron Williamson, pastor of First Baptist Church of Pampa, officiating. Burial will follow at 12:00 PM at the Groom Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Deborah was born in Borger, TX to Bobbie and Walter “Woody” Woodmore. Debbie was raised and graduated school in Perryton. She moved to Amarillo working as a cosmetologist. Debbie would later meet Kenneth Bowers and they married on July 6, 2002, in McLean. They shared several good years dancing and enjoying each other’s company before he preceded her in death on May 4, 2015. Debbie liked to care for her yard but her family, especially her grandchildren brought the most pride and joy. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and by a brother, Randy Woodmore.

Debbie is survived by two sons, Erik Halpain and wife Mary of McLean, and Lance Halpain and wife Mandy of Mineral Wells; two brothers, Allan Woodmore and wife Gloria of McLean, and Craig Woodmore and wife Sharon of Arlington; grandchildren, Blake Calhoun of Burchum, Crystal Brady of Roff, Oklahoma, Paige Halpain of Seminole, Oklahoma, Lee Halpain of McLean, Destiny Halpain of Mineral Wells, Dakota Halpain of Raleigh, NC, and Nicole Golden of Mineral Wells; nieces, Christy Woodmore of Amarillo, and Traci Riley of Mesquite; step-son, Greg Bowers of Pampa; along with other extended family.
