Need an Adjustment? Dr. Jack Dr. Albracht Has Your Back!

Dr. Jack Albracht has been running his own chiropractic business, Albracht Chiropractic of Pampa, since August 6th, 1990.

Dr. Albracht has had an interest in chiropractics since a young age. His father, Dr. John Albracht, had been a chiropractor since 1955 and ran his own practice, Albracht Chiropractic Clinic, in Amarillo before his passing in 2002.

“Growing up, chiropractic care was the only healthcare I was familiar with,” Dr. Albracht said. “I’ve grown to love it. It’s not only healthcare, it’s a lifestyle, too.”

Dr. Albracht graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas in 1989. Soon after, Dr. Albracht moved to Amarillo where he worked for his father at the Albracht Chiropractic Clinic. Dr. Albracht worked there for a year and a half before he decided to open his own practice.

When deciding where to establish his practice, Dr. Albracht searched a vast number of communities. He eagerly decided on Pampa for a number of reasons.

“We were very interested in sending our children to a Catholic grade school,” Dr. Albracht said, referring to Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic School. “As well, I’m very close to my sister. She and her husband live near by in Canadian. Pampa was a good fit for us.”

Dr. Albracht reflected upon his reasons for opening his chiropractic practice

“I wanted to open a practice on my own,” Dr. Albracht said. “While I could have stayed in Amarillo and open a practice there, I wanted to do it on my own.”

Dr. Albracht’s father was more than thrilled at the news.

“He was very happy for me,” Dr. Albracht said.

Dr. Albracht has been practicing chiropractic care in Pampa for nearly 33 years. He treats patients of all ages and all ailments.

“Every person is a candidate for chiropractic care,” Dr. Albracht said. “Chiropractic care helps the body work better. It’s for all different kinds of conditions, not just back pain.”

In all of his years of experience, Dr. Albracht highlights a certain joy of being a chiropractor.

“One of the neatest things about being a chiropractor is seeing how the patients respond to treatment,” Dr. Albracht said. “Seeing patients get better is very rewarding.”

Dr. Albracht expressed his sincerest appreciation to his parents, especially his father, for supporting him throughout his career.

“I really like to thank my mom, Ann, and my dad, John,” Dr. Albracht said. “My dad was a wonderful role model. They were very supportive of me my entire life.”
