A California man was killed Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash.
At 2:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, Sarabjit Singh, 23, Bakersfield, Calif. was driving a 2016 Kenworth truck tractor towing a semi-trailer east on Interstate 40.
A 2016 Freightliner truck tractor/semi-trailer, driven by Mohit Kumar, 22, Fontana, Calif., was legally parked off of the roadway at a rest area.
Texas DPS said Singh veered off the roadway into the rest area and struck the 2016 Freightliner.
The crash remains under investigation by Texas DPS. Information may change, be corrected, or added based on the investigators findings.
