One killed, multiple injured in two-vehicle wreck Thursday morning

A woman from Stinnett was killed in a two-vehicle wreck on Thursday morning west of Pampa.

At 7:15 a.m., Crystal Lewis, 40, Stinnett, was driving a 2019 Buick Enclave west on State Highway 152. A 2008 Suburban, driven by a 16-year-old juvenile male, with eight passengers, was stopped at a stop sign on County Road 3 facing north.

The driver of the Suburban failed to yield right of way and pulled out from the stop sign with the intent to travel west on Highway 152. The Suburban struck the front center of the Enclave, citing he did not see the vehicle.

Lewis died on the scene and was pronounced deceased by Gray County Justice of the Peace, Connie Ogle.

The male juvenile driver was transported to Northwest Texas Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Here are the conditions of his seven passengers.

• Ernesta Perez, 48, of, Dalhart. Transported to Pampa Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

• 17-year-old juvenile female, of Dalhart. Transported to Pampa Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

• 15-year-old juvenile male of Dalhart. Transported to Pampa Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

• Irma Rallio, 25, of Dalhart. Transported to Pampa Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

• Rosa Hernandez, 31, of Dalhart. Transported to Pampa Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

• Martha Perez, 19, of Dalhart. Not injured.

• Jose Gutierrez, 41, of Dalhart. Not injured.

• Magalena Gutierrez, 29, of Dalhart. Not injured.

The crash remains under investigation. Information may change, be corrected, or added based on the investigator’s findings.
